MEETING POINT

PRAVIEUX (VALSAVARENCHE)

 

1° DAY

After a quick check of the materials, we take the path that lead us to the Chabod hut. In a first time we are totally immersed into the woods, then we walk on a mid-mountain ground with an amazing view of Herbetet, Montandayné, Piccolo Paradiso and Gran Paradiso.

 

2° DAY

Wake up in the night and an heraly breakfast to be ready to go. We go to the slope that leads us to the pass of Montandayné walking before on the moraine  and then on the glacier. Here we climb the steep slope until the pass where the real ridge begins. We pass all the towers of Piccolo Paradiso climbing on rock/mixed terrain and then we arrive at the Piccolo Paradiso pass. At this point the terrain changes: the ridge is snowy and aereal until the top of the Gran Paradiso where the classic photo near the Madonna is a must. The descent takes place on the normal route.
