The Envers des Aiguilles has worderful routes on dreamy granite. Some of these have the advantage of being very close to the hut. A good alternative to Mont Blanc du Tacul satellites, since the style of climbing is the same and the high mountain environment is amazing.

MEETING POINT

TO BE AGREED WITH THE GUIDE

 

1° DAY

Afer a quick check of the material, we’ll take the Montenvers train from Chamonix to Montenvers. Here, we’ll walk towards the Envers des Aiguilles hut on the moraine called Mer de Glace. Then, we’ll take the path equipped with stairs and fixed ropes to pass some rocky jumps.

 

2° DAY

Early wake up and after a hearty breakfast we’ll be ready to go. Depending on the route chosen, the approach will be more o less long. The descent is abseiling. Several routes with different difficulties and length are possible, for example the classic Marchand de Sable, the hard Pedro Polar and the combination Le piège + Omologue Exceptionnel near the hut. Based on your level and you interest, the Guide will choose with you the right route.
