MEETING POINT

STAFFAL (GRESSONEY-LA-TRINITÉ)

1° DAY

After a quick check of the material, we’ll take the lifts to Bettaforca pass. At this point, we’ll follow the path which ends with an exposed section but well-equipped by a rope until the Quintino Sella hut.

2° DAY

Early wake up and after a hearty breakfast we’ll be ready to go. From the hut we’ll climb towards the Felik pass where the real ridge begins. The entire climb is on aerial ridge mainly snowy but with some short rocky passages. When we’ll reach the pick of the western Lyskamm, we’ll arrive to the eastern peak of Lyskamm where we’ll start the descent until the Lys pass. At this moment, we’ll reach the Mantova hut and then the Punta Indren where we’ll take the lifs to Staffal.
