It needs no introduction because it is the highest mountain in Europe and her uphill is a unforgettable experience for a lot of reasons. Here we propose the climb along the normal Italian route that is technically and physically a little more challenging compared to the French route but certainly more satisfying. Infact there are fewer objective dangers, fewer people on the route and the view is superb.

1° DAY

After a quick check of the material, we start with the long climb to the Gonella hut. Here we are immersed in a wonderful mid-mountain environment and in a second moment in a high-mountain one, where there are the most beautiful peaks of the Mont Blanc. Just the climb to the hut is an important ascent so you must be physically well prepared.

 

2° DAY

A wake up in the night and a hearty breakfast to be ready to start the day. The entire climb is on the glacier with some simple sections and others more difficults. After the Dôme du Goûter the Italian and the French routes join together and from here there will certainly be many more people. Near the  Vallot hut we will make a comfortable refreshment stop to face the last part of the climb. At this point the beautiful and aerial  Bosses ridge leads us to the summit and here we are to the top of the highest mountain of Europe where you can admire all. The descent takes place by the way of Trois Monts and then a little climb to the Aiguille du Midi where you can take the cableway to reach Punta Helbronner.
