The valley of Piantonetto offers long and satisfying routes on good rock. The walk to arrive at the base is always quite long, but it’s a big opportunity to climb routes opened by legends of climbing like Gian Carlo Grassi.

1° DAY

After a quick check of the material, we’ll start the nice path which leads to the Pontese hut.

 

2° DAY

Early wake up and after a hearty breakfast we’ll be ready to go. All the climbing routes are of great interest and satisfaction. The descent is abseiling. Different routes with several levels of difficulty are possible. For example you can do the stunning and relatively easy Malvassora, on the Becco Meridionale della Tribolazione, or the most challenging Grassi-Re, also to the Becco Meridionale or the classic Mellano-Perego-Cavalieri to the Becco di Valsoera. Based on your level and your interest, the Guide will choose with you the route that best suits your needs.
